Hey Mizah. I don't know exactly the problem, you can try uninstalling the old version first then do a reinstall? What kind of error message are you seeing, is it a message coming from an Android dialog box or something? Also, what's your Android OS version?
I think I see the problem. Google Play seems to be vigilant these days against outside APKs by putting up an "Unsafe App Blocked" warning.
The game is safe coming from us from our official Itch and Newgrounds pages. The game is not in Google Play's store and is self signed by us, so by default, it (Google Play) automatically assumes it's unsafe these days.
If you see Google Play's "Unsafe App Blocked" prompt, just press on the text, "More details" and then, "Install anyway" to proceed with the installation.
In my test device, I'm on Android 13 and it does give me the same warning as above telling me it's for an older android build, but it still works regardless.
